Porridge is simply much healthier than a bowlful of sugary cereal for breakfast, not to mention the fact that it’s absolutely delicious and will keep you satisfied all the way through the morning!

Ingredients
This recipe is for 1 bowl
50g oats (large leaf)
125 ml milk
125 ml water
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of sugar
A pinch of salt
Step by step recipe
1. Cut your plums into slices. In a small pot, add the plums and simmer on low heat with 50ml of water, a teaspoon of sugar and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon (cook for 5-10mins).
2. In another pot mix your large leaf oats with water and cook on a low flame. Add a pinch of salt and some sugar if you like it sweet (cook for 5mins or until oats are al dente).
3. According to how you like the consistency of your oats, add some milk (non-dairy if you are vegan) at the end.
Top your porridge with seasonal fruits - Apples with cinnamon, bananas, berries...everything goes!
